- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThe tension build up in this film is expertly delivered. James McAvoy seems so natural in this role and the juxtaposition of the two main male characters is fantastic. Really enjoyed this movie even if some of it was an uncomfortable watch

- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsInteresting story, adequate flow of events, good acting. A work of cinema rarely seen today. I recommend you to watch it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe movie was ok. Took to long for the excitement
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThe movie has a very slow build-up, but towards the third act, it becomes more intense and gripping. Unlike the original Danish film, where the family simply let the villains do violent things to them, the characters in this American remake fought back and showed a strong will to survive. This contrast was quite striking; the original film's portrayal of the family's lack of survival instinct was frustrating, leading up to a very disturbing and shocking ending. In contrast, the American version was just nuts. I found myself clapping, cheering, and yelling because the scenes were so intense that I was on the edge of my seat. It also made me realize that excessive kindness and politeness can literally put you in danger. As a people pleaser myself, it hit me that I should start setting boundaries to avoid dangerous situations. Overall, the movie is really great. It has moments of humor and is engaging throughout. It's a shame that no one talks about it. It’s very underrated; there were only about five people in the theater. Hopefully, word of mouth will pick up because this movie deserved better at the box office. 🙌
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe trailer pretty much gave you what was going to happen. I was waiting for a twist and it didn’t come. It was pretty straight forward. James played the part well and was the bad guy. I was waiting for a twist the trailer didn’t show but that was it
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsReally great suspense movie definitely got the heart rate up
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSoooo good. When James MaCavoy ✨
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe original ending was so thought provoking and had me thinking about it for days. This pussificatuon required in American cinema sucks!
