Super 30

Yes, the real-life story is inspiring. But the telling of it is a drag.

A salutary cause and an inspirational story about the triumph of the underdog doesn't necessarily make an engaging film.

I wish I had strong emotions watching Super 30, a competently filmed entertainment but a frustrating embroidery of a story already inherent with cinematic value. It's well-intentioned and well-made but highly dubious.
