Take Back

This smalltown revenge thriller starts off well but takes a fatally long time to gather momentum.

Take Back is time-wasting trash that should be avoided at all costs, unless you're a masochist who is compelled to see all of [Mickey] Rourke's horrible movies in the final years of his career.

When the Whites get to cut loose, they make the most of it, but those opportunities are disappointingly minimal.

White is by far the most impressive aspect of a thriller that starts off hot, then cools down to such a degree that it never quite recovers

It's a great film to relax at home with and enjoy a steady stream of light suspense and action... and support up-and-coming stars.
