Strangely flawed but also strangely watchable. Ben Affleck's characterization has become much more extreme since the first Accountant, and wears a little. Some good action, but also some very unbelievable stuff. I did watch it all, but it felt like a movie you could stop and come back to and not have missed anything.

Really entertaining. laugh out loud funny, great action sequences, really good banter - arguably better than the first. Rip roaring fun.

Very contrived this time around and very cheesy. Takes you out of the picture with how “silly” it gets. First one was a lot more serious. Could have come up with a much better premise myself to this also. Something like his partner at the institution should have been kidnapped or something and he’s out for revenge.

A sequel seemed like a good idea in 2016 but.... a lot has changed since then. As someone who didn't take the time to re-watch the predecessor, the build isn’t great and the ending felt kinda random and rushed. Despite the flaws, it’s competent.

Gostei muito, mesclou humor com ação, e tem momentos emocionantes. Excelente e que venha o 3.

good story and cast. Action kept you on your toes and it was a good follow up to the first movie. Ben and John did a good job sharing the screen. I would recommend this movie to watch.

As a movie, 2/10. As a line dancing documentary, also 2/10.

I liked it — it’s an action film, easy to watch and passes the time well. I enjoyed the performances.

The movie starts kinda okay but immediately falls into a typical formula. The writing is weak and sloppy, loaded with bad cop movie tropes, flat action (not much action to see actually) and attempts at humor that doesn't work compared to the first movie. I'm also still questioning the reason why there had to be second movie of 'The accountant" 9 years later. There was no need for it. Cynthia Addai-Robinson's performance has zero chemistry and feels completely lifeless. A character used as some kind of filler this time. When her role was important in the first movie, now she's just used as a lot of nothing. Her character being dumb and blindly follows Christian's actions 'till she just walks away from all of it, no questions asked. The help Affleck's character (Christian) gets (the unknown "organisation" within the first movie) just gets thrown into the story, just like that fully exposed and it confused me for a moment asking myself if I missed on something. The score used throughout the movie sounded like cheap tracks that can be found on an old mobile phone. The songs used at the end of the movie...what the hell was that all about, cheesy as can be? Ben Affleck's portrayal of Christian feels like a caricature of his character in the first movie, not a person. This character was so good in the first movie, which I loved. Affleck being a unique character and kinda misterious made the movie special. Jon Bernthal is the lone bright spot, managing to bring grit and humanity despite the clunky lines. But to be honest Bernthal starts to feel as a typical character in many of his movies, always nagging and complaining. Still a good actor though.
