One of the best opening scenes of any movie ever made. Who is Bane and why does he wear the mask?

Pues si me enchino los pelos de los huevos durante casi tres horas, pero los pocos errores que tienen, son graves.

The movie I saw was The Dark Knight. There was some mixup between Fandango and Regal theaters. So my five stars is for The Dark Knight, which is what I saw.

The Dark Knight Rises offers the best of Batman and gets you into its conclusion about the notion of heroism and devotion from a single man. Christopher Nolan delivers a most satisfying conclusion to his critically acclaimed superhero saga, with this highly anticipated blockbuster. It's usually hard for the third film to live up to the original, but this does and nails it. Everything is top-notch in the film, the acting: Bruce Wayne/Batman (Christian Bale), Bane (Tom Hardy), Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine), James Gordon (Gary Oldman), Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul (Marion Cotillard), John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), the writing, the cinematography, the storyline, the soundtrack that is performed by Hans Zimmer is so epic and exciting as well, the visual effects are all perfect in the film. Tom hardy is fantastic as Bane and his mask is really intimidating. I like how they didn't cover up his whole face because if they did cover his face up, he wouldn't look as threatening as he actually is. The action is incredible, the performances are great, the scene with Bruce climbing out of Banes prison is one of my favorite scenes of the trilogy, the story, everything works in the movie and while it might not be better than the previous films I still am pleased with this movie and never have I been more satisfied with a comic book series conclusion than this one. Christopher Nolan has de-constructed Batman not a as comic book fanboy, but as a professor looking at the mythos we create and use in story telling. He definitely did justice to the whole trilogy and will be a trilogy to never be forgotten. Overall, The Dark Knight Rises is a fitting, full-arc conclusion to a great epic trilogy, Christopher Nolan made it with care and love for the franchise

The Dark Knight Trilogy All-nighter - BFI IMAX (IMAX 70mm) Despite fighting sleep for a solid 30 minute stretch at what I estimate to have been 5:30am, this was still amazing. The middle 30-40 minutes does slow down a bit too significantly that it dampens the momentum but the finale is so incredible, epic filmmaking on a dizzying scale. This one has so much IMAX too, like wow. It's supposedly about 76 minutes of the film but it feels like over half the film has the full imax ratio. It's jaw dropping and as epic as imagery can get and an IMAX 70mm print on the gargantuan BFI IMAX screen remains as mind blowing as ever. Interestingly, each film in the trilogy does look and feel quite different from the others, more than I'd realised before. This has my favourite score of the trilogy and hearing it blasting out the IMAX speakers is absolutely glorious. I cannot express enough how incredible the 3rd act of this film is. What an unforgettable night

This film is often unfairly maligned. Sure, it's a let down compared to Batman Begins and the Dark Knight, but the production is great, there are very memorable scenes and talented character-actor Tom Hardy is in his element as Bane. While we get perhaps the least charismatic take on Catwoman ever with the talented but miscast Anne Hathaway there is much to enjoy about the movie. The biggest problems are perhaps that Bane is not the Bane from the comics or games but almost an entirely new character, though Christopher Nolan does this with pretty much every antagonist in the trilogy, and (much less excusably) this film really suffers a third act problem that is so bad that it could be a textbook example of how to ruin a movie in the final act. This still ranks among the best Batman adaptations around despite its shortcomings, and divisive nature.

A massive disappoinment. Not a fan of this one.
