The Enforcer
audience Reviews
, 48% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsSolid movie. Wouldn’t go to the cinema to see but I was struggling to find something so I popped this on, and it didn’t disappoint! Perfect for a john wick, the mechanic, taken etc. enthusiast like myself. Good overall plot, there is a bit of wishy washiness in there but so does every movie recently.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI can’t believe the bad reviews. I thought the movie was really good. Banderas definitely carried the story. I really enjoyed it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI knew I would like it because the critics did not. Well done movie. Keeps your attention and has a good plot. I liked it and it kept me entertained. I reccomend it.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsa forgettable action flick about a gangster coming into some remorse about the life he has led. Predictable but a little bit special just because Banderas is in it, Bosworth sets down a notable crimeboss, so kudos for that
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt answers its own questions like the audience will be too stupid to figure it out. and nothing made sense like the kid was ready to throw away his promotion die for a guy he only went on 2 jobs with and he already crying at the end. why is Banderas not going to the hospital so he stayed bloody till the next day to drop his car off at his daughters school just to walk to the nearest beach and die..you rather give her the car and die wtf
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsIt's a straight forward predictable story, recognizable with few twists; and yet this film is likeable for all of that. It doesn't try to do more than it appears to, and perhaps that's why it does it well. The cast do great job, at once cliche and rich with characterization. Everybody seems to enjoy playing their roles, respectively. The cast are comfortable to leave one another room to play. The camera work is good, imaginative. And the main cast are excellent, patient, expressive, authentic. Kate Bosworth is having a lot if fun playing a despicable criminal matriarch, pushing her portrayal close to the edge and restraining it just enough, as the consummate professional she is. Antonio Banderas lifts his character from dark and morose and sympathetically and credibly rounds him out. Alexis Ren similarly adds depth and dimension to a character that might have been just a cliche. And Mojean Aria is fascinating to watch as he ensures that his portrayal conveys a great deal more than just the contents of his dialogue. All of this indicates solid direction by Richard Hughes, so we'll done, sir! This movie is engaging. Not every movie must have a twists-and-turns plot, a grand social lesson to teach, or CGI all over every scene to be a good movie, to successfully entertain. This is a good and entertaining movie
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe action and acting was much better than the scores it was given. It took a generic storyline, added a couple of twists and gave it a feel good ending. Antonio Banderas did a great job 👍🏻
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsVery poorly written. Just a bunch of senseless violence.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsReally like Antonio Banderas as an actor and he has done some great films but sadly this is not one of them. Predictable action movie and Antonio does his best but it is just a movie to pass the time.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe storyline was very good and some of the actor's performances were better than others. Sound/background sometimes drowned out vocals. Maintained our interest.
