I felt like this movie had a lot of potential but it didn’t pan out. The story felt rushed, and with a bit more time I think it could have been fleshed out a little more. There were plot points that didn’t go anywhere and I felt like some characters were only used to push the plot and noting more. Overall I was hoping for a better finale to this Trilogy.

Such a great movie. It might be slow for some but it was 100% for me. I like a movie that tells a story and has some action. These revenge, slow burn, good movies are why I watch movies. Denzel always brings it. Whoever directed it was on point and some of the music was just perfect adn a little weird. I loved it. I am just watching it again after going to Italy and I am excited to see the landscape now that I have been there. At time of writing it has 94% and didn't need another review but this damn movie is so great, that I needed to do one anyway.

Perhaps as good as the first...

Not very much action for an action film. Insanely annoying music during every action scene. Kinda boring overall. Story basically like every other action movie. It's well made and good actors. Just didn't enjoy it much.

This is the perfect end to a great series.

More of the same with Denzel Washington doing yet another great job in the lead role whose character is at his best when he gets to kick some ass and better pacing than the second film though I don't think the location change added anything of note other than some nice scenery. Overall, better than the second film but I still prefer the first film, even if by a slight margin. Guess I was always indifferent to these movies. Probably not helped by the first film coming out the same year as the more impactful John Wick. Oh well, at least it's nice to see him and Dakota Fanning reunite after 19 years...is what I would say if I had actually seen Man on Fire. Saving Washington's collaborations with Ridley Scott's late brother for a rainy day.

Could have been better if they had bothered to put in English subtitles. The film is 3/4 in Italian and I guess dialogue doesn't matter since you are forced to write your own without aide of a translation.
