Warning: light spoiler ahead. It's so irritating how many idiots rate a movie poorly just because every detail isn't spelled out for them. It's literally based on the concept of Gaia inhabiting a human vessel in order to punish a toxic, destructive and hedonistic family.

Tries to be intelligent, but fails. Horrible on every dimension.

This is one of the top five horror films I've seen in the last 10 years.

I slept on it after watching last night. Upon reflection, was actually a very interesting and unique story. However, it's extremely difficult to sit through. I can mind the slow burn pace. However, it gets a little to weird and art house for me at the end when all hell breaks loose. Had I rated it last night, it would have been worse. However, story was good. I just wished they could have executed things a little differently around the finale.

Annes Elwy is the only thing redeeming about this one however well made it truly is. I eagerly await her next film.

A slow burn for sure, but a beautiful madness to behold. The visuals and performances are top notch.

This is an original, well-made and disturbing horror film! The viewer's attention is held by the increasing strangeness and mystery of the actress' behavior, as the false appearance of a fulfilling family life crumbles, and the film crescendos into horror, madness and terror.

At times this Welsh spoken horror from Lee Haven Jones is beautifully shot, but still gives off the feeling of uneasiness from it's lingering shots, ominous score & sound. The story takes its time with the storytelling before building up to some wince-inducing moments of horror.
