Exceptional movie that shows the working relations with oil field hands and the money that backs the venture. Money makes people do strange things. Love, lust, deceptions and greed will be found in this movie. Great depiction of what the west Texas oil is all about. A must see.

Thoughtful independent film based on a novel of the same name reminds us of the history of wildcatting in Texas. Authentic Peroid details set in West Texas , directed with a sensitivity for the men and women who lived for the power of black gold .

I also saw this at the Dallas International Film Festival. It was terrible, and a few other things bad but I won’t say anything else.
