The King's Man
audience Reviews
, 80% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI absolutely enjoyed Kingsman: The Secret Service. However, it seems that with each sequel this franchise loses some of its magic. Kingsman: The Golden Circle wasn’t as entertaining as its predecessor and The King's Man is even less so. I don’t understand how a movie about the formation of a secret organization of super spies can be so dull, yet it is. I even found myself staring blankly at some of the action sequences, waiting for them to be over the story could move on. Maybe it would have been more amusing if I were well-versed in World War I history, but The King’s Man takes itself too seriously.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsAmazing mix of history with a good kingsman twist. I liked that a major world event kick started the whole thing as well as being used as a good subplot that met a tragic end. Really good writing and cinematography that threw me off a couple of times and made me question how the film was going to end. Noticed others claiming that the choreography was a little goofy but I think it was well incorporated to fit each character's role very well. Especially with some being quite unorthodox in style.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsGood visuals and some good action, but lacking everything else.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsPoor story, terrible script and just plain predictable boring popy c..k!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsNot up to expectations. Promising plot with disappointing ending. Story did not conclude how the Kingsmen was established and funded. Action sequences with nothing new.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt was pretty enjoyable but not better then the original ones. I was suprised how good the different historical people were portrayed, they looked like the real ones so great job by teh makeupartists.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe King's man had a really cool concept it didn't fully live up to its potential. The movie felt long and the fights were all dragged out. Only watch this if you are a fan of kingsman and want to see the universe expand.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsFirst 2 were decent this is ass
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsthis film, which returns to the origins of the Kingsman, offers a truly surprising scenario with unexpected twists and turns. Very different from previous films, it will not necessarily please everyone but it is undeniable that we are in the presence of a quality, rhythmic and elegant entertainer.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsamazing movie. funny, entertaining, and sad at times. would recommend to watch along with the other kingsman movies.
