The Last Deal

Overall, director Salemi delivers a film that is impressive and impactful despite the fiscal constraints.

The Last Deal doesn’t wholly deliver on its early promise, but for fans of fare like Cisco Pike, it’s worth a watch.

I'd love to see what Salemi could do with a bigger budget. His work here is impressive and if there's any justice in the cinematic world Hollywood is watching and will be knocking on his door.

The last Deal is a very well-made film. It doesn’t have the look and feel of your typical small-budget indie film. It certainly has the muscle to rub shoulders with any crime thriller that comes to mind. And Molinari’s performance makes it even better.


It’s not going to get the benefit of a blockbuster marketing blitz, but The Last Deal is absolutely worth seeking out for action thriller fans searching for a new cinematic high.

A lot of movement keeps the film on a rapid pace as a frenzied Vince travels around the city trying to devise a resolution to his overwhelming problem.

A solid thriller grounded by its compelling, human protagonist.

If we see The Last Deal as a good opportunity to pay for your sins, then it’s a solid collection of events where a character is submitted to awful stuff just because he thought of the easy way out. Or in.
