This was super gory and contains sexual violence. Skip through those parts because this true story is told in an interesting way. I've been to many, many European museums with medieval clothing, armaments, religious artifacts and art. This is the first movie I've ever seen that perfectly captures the era. The cinematography is amazing and beautiful. The Matt Damon that you know is not here. He plays an obdurate, almost nasty role. I feel like Ben Affleck didn't push it enough. He was kind of a stereotype, but his role in the creation of this movie makes me forgive him. Adam Driver was wonderful, as usual. But, Jodie Comer absolutely steals this piece from these mega stars. Phenomenal. I didn't know a thing about her, but I will follow her career from now on.

An excellent tale of justice being served and the perfect use of flashback narration. We get superb performances from Jodie Comer along with Adam Driver and Matt Damon who are sell the story's drama very well. Ridley Scott's vision of cinematography usually is excellent and this film is indeed well shot. The film's climax also pays off very well after a fairly paced 1st and 2nd act that build up the final duel very well. The music is fitting just as well as the costume designs utilized with the film. -A underrated Masterpiece of cinema and one of Director Scott's best.

So good that I wish I had seen it on the big screen ! But it was still enjoyable on TV.

I watch a lot of medieval movies, and this was one of the better ones. Good story line, good acting. Well made and not cheap.

Good story. Annoying they went with the overdone "medieval grey." Medieval times were colorful. Bright colored fabrics and paints everywhere especially where lords congregated. I get that it might line up with the tone of the story being told.... but I've seen enough serious stories told without relying on a lack of color that I think they should know better by now.

Incredible history about a single case view from three different perspectives. Wat I was most impressed with is that Scott make it interesting and not boring at all to see the same history three times. It is fluid and appealing. Very good acting and historical correct with the context. I really enjoy it.
