You know when you buy minced beef in the supermarket? At home you open the package and the pungent sour smell of rotting meat hits you, ruining dinner and your evening immediately? Yeah. This movie is that. I got to 3 minutes.

This films deserves a hell of a lot more recognition than it gets. I have to be honest war films are not usually my cup of tea, but the way this film has been done made me feel more connected to the story and really moved me. This film has a star studded cast who display amazing performances throughout, but When Sebastian Stan's character (Scott Huffman) is in Avalon, the silent movie acting was outstanding and brought a rare tear to my eye. This film is definitely worth watching whenever war film enthusiast or not as this film has something for everyone.

Outstanding and moving movie that brings home the impact has on those that served, as well as their families. It covers the 30 year effort, and devotion of his brotherhood of veterans that finally got the Pararescue serviceman his Medal of Honor. Overplayed the importance of a (fictional I believe) AF staffer in pushing and making it happen. In spite of that bit of "Hollywoodism" the movie is excellent and moving.

A movie for a lazy afternoon. Not a lot happens to be honest, despite an incredible cast, the writing just doesn't do justice to the subject matter. I enjoyed it because of the true story but it is not a film to watch again.

Brave . There was a Brave in South East Asian Jungle , 4 11 1966 . My grand uncle was a Army infantry at my native country , I am not American , by the way . Army infantry soldiers have to go to the " Front Lines " during war , battle fields . My grand uncle wasn't dead on the battle field , he was back to his country by Victory , won for war . But , he was still young , my grand father was a child during war at his elder brother was going to battle field , my grand uncle was still 17 or 19 years old . I hadn't met my grand uncle , he wasn't KIA , but , he wasn't back his home after finished war . I don't know what happened about my grand uncle why didn't go back to his home . Anyway , Army infantry soldiers , always , going to the Front Lines at battle fields . Because , Army infantries will die a lot than another military corps . Will be KIA . Dead , Death , has Gone during in their missions . But , First grade Air man Pitsenbarger was an Airman . Not Army infantry soldier . Everybody cries to watch this movie , I cried , too . Vietnam War was the most " Terrible " war in United States's war history , I think . I hadn't been born Vietnam War was started . And , my country isn't United States , because , " what is Vietnam War ? " , it's my first impression . Bill Pitsenbarger had big Brave in his heart , he couldn't leave the actual battle field that he saw Army soldiers being die by be attacked . It's not sad , big impression by Bill Pitsenbarger Brave .

Outstanding movie & performances. Great cast. Nuanced exploration of the complexities of the Vietnam War, war in general, and political corruption. The film wove in many questions all war veterans and humans in general struggle with. I cried throughout the movie, and the ending was very powerful. Again we are reminded that one person can make a huge difference. Why are we not hearing about this great movie, particularly as war is raging in Ukraine?

An incredible movie with a top notch cast. The integration of past and "present" has an unnerving way of creating deep bonds with the characters. From the moment the movie started right until the end I was unable to draw my focus away, and I will admit was unable to stop bawling my eyes out. A must watch for all.
