A small-town entrepreneur reflects on his life and criminal career while prepairing to retire. Later, he recalls his son's disastrous business ventures as well.
Deadly family values
A psychological crime thriller about remorseful gangster angst, The Life I Lived is shades of The Godfather, with a little Woody Allen thrown in. Not to mention eating disorders, alcoholism and domestic abuse.
The production values are amateurish, but the story is involving and probably will not disappoint fans of THE SOPRANOS.
