The Lion King II: Simba's Pride

It’s not amazing as the original masterpiece but it’s a solid direct to video sequel with some great songs

It's good it's not amazing but it's good and worth the watch just don't expect a masterpiece. it's a fun movie to watch the animation is good the story's good. It's not as good as the original but as a direct to VHS movie it's pretty good. 90% worth the watch

My favorite Disney movie as a kid and still is all grown up...

Simba's Pride is a pleasant victory lap for those invested in The Lion King's characters, even if it adds little to its predecessor's timeless themes.

A good sequel! The original "The Lion King" is one of my all time favorite movies and the sequel was actually good! The music in this movie though... A bit disappointing. Especially compared to the original. Example: If we compare "Be prepared" from the original (Scars solo) and "My lullaby" (Ziras solo)... I mean just go and listen to them back to back. But overall the storyline was good! Loved the characters! I would say it's worth a watch even though it lacks in some departments!

Perfectly illustrates a theme about breaking generational trauma, giving up mutually-assured destructive revenge, and love defeating hate. The songs are silly, the animation is beautiful, the voice acting great, and the character design was on point. It's a great sequel and I don't know why more people don't see the positives in this film.

As someone who watched The Lion King almost every day when I was in first, second, and third grade, the second one made the story made it so much better. We got to see it from a girl's perspective rather than a boy's perspective. This is because it shows that if we follow our heart when we truly love someone that it'll be ok.

It's good but I would say not as good as the original because the characters are not as iconic and the animation is not bad but does not hold up to the original but the acting is good and I loved Kovu and Kiara
