The Little Things

You wait to whole movie for something to have and nothing ever does. Truly a complete waste of everyones time.

Can't go too wrong with D Washington. Good movie but a little wierd at times.

The acting is very good all around but this is not so much a slow burn, but a slog. I thought is was going ok figured it was coming to a climax but no still had 40 minutes and those 40 minutes felt like hours. Was the ending good, hard to tell because I just did not care.

Though its been awhile since Ive seen this movie, I still think about it constantly when I saw it in theaters on my birthday. It was intense and is now one of my favorite movies. In my opinion, all 3 actors performed there characters masterfully and worked really well on screen together. Plus, the plotting and sequencing of the movie was outstanding. To me, I didnt find a single thing wrong with this movie and I loved everything about it. Masterpiece!

Lange nicht mehr einen so schlechten und langweiligen Film gesehen... vor allem das ende ist die absolute Katastrophe. Wie kann man einen Detektivfilm machen (einen serienmörder fall) der mit einer Verfolgungsjagd beginnt, aber bei dem nie raus kommt wer der Killer ist? Selbst der Regisseur weiss es nicht. Sowas ist einfach traurig und zeigt wie uninspiriert der Regisseur ist. Nie wieder was von dem. Halber Stern für die Darsteller.

This movie was great until the very end. It took a disappointing twist and ended with unanswered questions.

The critics are asinine, and have a low IQ in understanding the complexities of this movie! This movie is very complex, it is a mystery movie and the ending will blow you away! Ignore the low IQ critics and watch this movie! This is a true crime movie!

I've created an account just to write down how miserable this movie was. I still understand where the cressendo was and what was the point of the movie.

If you have NOT seen the film yet, then please scroll past this review because : SPOILER ALERT ! To those that saw the film: what if I told you that Denzel was the killer. The "fancy boots" are the major clue, but there are other "little things" that give it away as well. Question: Did you wonder why Jared Leto's character did not grab Rami Malek's gun when they were alone in the desert? It was there for the taking as Malek dug the hole(s). Or why , there was no evidence in Leto's apt?? Leto's does a great job of creating a very disturbed character, but he is NOT the killer. I said the major clue was the boots; the minor clue is that red barrette that Denzel purchases at the end. And of course Denzel "accidentally" shooting the female victim during a flashback. Guess what? That was no accident. He ( Denzel) committed those murders...all of them. And the way to understand how and why is to pay attention to all the "little things" that get revealed during the course of this not-so-great film.

A terrific psychological thriller. It unspools slowly and steadily and keeps the dramatic tension taut. No car chases, no shootouts, no explosions which may disappoint viewers who want a busy movie. But a tough and nerve wracking story that unfolds by unexpected turns, stops and starts. Compelling drama.
