The Marvels
audience Reviews
, 80% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe idiotic musical subplot single handedly took what was a half decent marvel romp and turned it into a children's movie. Pick a lane.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsTerrible. Everything about it.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsI think the boys tv show did this thing better.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis is the lamest Marvel movie I've ever seen. Disney truly has lost the ability to make an MCU movie.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis movie offends me
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHo visto solo il trailer, e mi è bastato.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe power, the new suits and Ms Marvel recruiting Kate Bishop for the Young Avengers
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThe Marvels is a refreshing cosmic romp that delivers a delightful blend of humor, heart, and high-flying action. Brie Larson shines once again as Carol Danvers, but it’s the unexpected chemistry between her, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan that truly elevates this film. The trio’s dynamic feels like a superheroic family road trip—complete with bickering, bonding, and a shared mission to save the universe. Director Nia DaCosta infuses the movie with a vibrant energy, weaving together dazzling space visuals and a playful tone that sets it apart from the MCU’s heavier entries. The plot zips along at a brisk pace, juggling multiversal stakes with personal growth, while the Kree-Skrull conflict gets a nuanced twist that keeps things engaging. Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury adds his signature wit, and Zawe Ashton’s villainous Dar-Benn brings a compelling intensity to the chaos. It’s not a flawless blockbuster, but The Marvels embraces its quirks and delivers a fun, character-driven adventure that leaves you smiling—and maybe even rooting for more Captain Marvel team-ups. A stellar addition to the MCU’s ever-expanding galaxy!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis was such a boring, stupid, and unnecessary movie. It’s about someone that no one knows, someone who no one likes, and someone no one cares about.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsCons: What annoyed me was every single character was acting like an immature teenager in this movie. The only character that should have been acting like that was Kamala Khan! Tell me why I had to watch Carol Danvers wine like a brat towards Nick Fury in one scene? I know fans were complaining that Carol was too stoic and needed some personality. But please, for the love of God, bring her old personality back! Steve Rogers was stoic and everyone loved him. I don't see why people had a problem with Carol being too stoic. That's literally the way she is in the comics! Also, I have some complaints about Kamala Khan. She is just too cringey. I get that she is a teenager fangirl, and I love that. But, for example, she was able to be a teenage fangirl AND serious in the animated Marvel Rising series. Why can't she also be like that in the MCU? Overall, this movie was a ridiculous mess with poor dialogue, convenient plot devices, and really no heart at all. Which is so sad because I love the characters of Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel, and they deserved a better way to meet and team-up in the MCU. If I were Marvel Studios, I would start hiring some of the writers who worked on animated Marvel shows like Marvel Rising because somehow they were able to write a better introduction for the characters of Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel than this movie did. Pros: I loved Goose the cat and that hilarious scene in the beginning of the movie where Kamala's family is caught in the middle of an intergalactic fight in their living room. Other than that, there's not much good things to say about this movie which is sad.
