To Being the Nightmare Before Christmas revolves around Jack Skellington otherwise known as the Pumpkin King, and how he has grown tired of celebrating Halloween each year and wants something new. After Jack finds a Christmas door in the woods, it leads him to the choice that he wants to be Santa clause instead of the pumpkin king. However, after becoming Santa and leaving some presents, he realizes that he still enjoyed being the pumpkin king, and afterwards attempts to fix all the mistakes he caused. In this way, it is a fascinating movie, from having a compelling story, and unique characters to overall great direction in how the story progresses. I enjoyed Jack's development from how at the beginning of the movie, Jack was conflicted with himself about what he wanted to do with his life, to at the end, Jack happily accepting his role as the pumpkin king. In conclusion, The Nightmare Before Christmas is a captivating movie about Halloween and the idea of what would happen if one holiday took over another.

Just as I watched 'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace' and 'Spider-Man (2002)' in theaters as a so-called 'classics' screenings, I watched yet another cinematic masterpiece that gave me chills during its most iconic moments. And the best about this time, compared to the previous ones? I haven't watched 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' since Christmas 2019! So besides the iconic opening of 'This Is Halloween', which gave me literal chills and made me almost tear up, I had forgotten most of what happens during the film! So I was kinda off to a clean start again with this film! And it did NOT dissappoint! It's a masterpiece! The story is just brilliant, visually it's astonishing, the jokes are on point, Jack Skellington is just one of the best Disney characters...I might rewatch this one another time this year. Not in the theater, that's a one-and-done thing to keep the special memory of last night around. But I still got Disney+ that I should make some use off to make it worth it...

Watched this with my kids many years ago and forgot how much I enjoyed. Wife and I recently had a chance to see it in a theater and it really is a fantastic movie.
