The Professor

Contrary to what others may think, I believe that this film shows, through the eyes of a dying man, how hard it is like to tell the the people closest to you what your truly feeling and how even through the hardest of times you do paint on a smile to make others happy. Although the film wasn't near perfect. Depp's over-reliance on his classic, suave, audacious character that were all used to and its very cliche end causes a good plot to go belly up.

I enjoyed this movie. It's not often a movie can make me laugh and cry. Part of the reason is what has happened in my own life. Notice how the critics rated it so low but the audience rated it much higher. That just shows how out of touch and pretentious they are. Don't listen to them. You're better than that.

I could only stand to watch it for 28 minutes. I FF'd it to watch a few more scenes and none were any better.

I thought the ending was a bit of a cop out but I thought it was funny and I cried like a baby when he revealed his secret to his daughter. I liked it.

it's got a really good couple of scenes that make an otherwise average movie a worthwhile watch.

The critics need to get a life. Yeah, the moral of this one has been told before, but if you are one of the types that would still be in the classroom after the professor weeded the chaff, you'll enjoy this movie.

Bittersweet and beautiful. Mostly hilarious and tastefully raunchy with well timed heartwarming moments. The fact critics hate this movie (and the pretentious way they hate on it) makes it even better because a theme of this story is that those types of people are a waste of precious time.

Great movie, great premise.
