A fairly charming, if stridently sentimental and moralistic romantic fantasy that, with its clever structure, even manages to pick at the mysteries of identity.

The Quintessential Quintuplets actually has real heart, and a surprising maturity.

Has all of the melodramatic revelations and puppy-love intrigue of the preceding anime series, based on Negi Haruba’s manga comics.

Fans of the manga series should like the charming visuals and voice performances of this movie. What doesn't translate as well cinematically is the somewhat creepy story of teen quintuplets being love rivals for their tutor. The movie is also too long.

Another amazing looking anime film for 2022. The sequel to the series takes us down a journey of these young group of friends moving into adult hood. The story & characters are as great as ever but this could’ve been concluded with a mini-series instead

The story handles sensitive topics with care, and the characters' life choices for the future are all portrayed positively – even when that means not going to college or taking nontraditional career paths.

It's very silly, it's lots of fun... if you just want a giggle and this kind of romantic comfort, you'll have fun.

Runtime issues aside, the anime film is cute, heartfelt and funny at times.
