The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run

The movie is visually beautiful, but the plot makes no sense and it feels like just some remaster of the original Gary Come Home episode, as well as just some expensive trailer for the new spinoff that came out around the same year. Also it makes no sense how apparently Sandy met SpongeBob at "Camp Koral" but if we look back at the 1st season they meet while Sandy is beating up a clam. Wow, Nickelodeon.

This movie was so mediocre. It just felt like an advertisement for their new show that came out like 2-3 years ago. This felt nothing like the previous two movies. It's fine but is just worse than the previous two. 5.3/10

Overall decent movie, but they kind of let down on SpongeBob's personality. Still fun to watch though.

Has Spongebob Squarepants lost its charm?

I know people hate this movie, But I love it. Cuz is the goofiest, weirdest, and most bizarre SpongeBob film. I mean SpongeBob and Patrick went to the wild west, where they found Keanu Reeves and dancing zombies - what is there not to love??

Ok Nickelodeon why did you do this

Don't get me wrong I love the spongebob series and I couldn't wait to see it. After I saw it I was extremely disappointed. The reason why the first spongebob movie was a success was because it had its charm But this movie had no charm it just felt empty along with the thin plot with hardly any comedy.

A movie I constantly enjoy every time I watch it. Unfortunately my only disappointment with the film isn't its fault but it's not as nostalgic or iconic as the first 2 movies. My biggest Positives are the story and the soundtrack. SpongeBob fans who haven't seen it, don't let the reviews scare you form your own opinion and if you don't like it that's fine

Man, I really wanted to like this movie and wanted to see it in theatets. But when it, released digitally instead, I'm glad it got delayed by Covid-19. This seems more like a long-ass episode than an actually movie, so in my opinion, do not watch this.
