The Stand In

Pleasant surprise! This was a fun and funny flick with some great cameos and Drew! I loved both of her characters. Solid humor.

Really terrible - not what I'd expect from Drew Barrymore

SPOILERS! I don't understand why this got duch bad reviews. I completely enjoyed this film. Yes, of course there's things you could call out that couldn't really happen. Like when she takes the house. But it was okay with me because Cathy didn't care and the entire time I just wanted to know how OG Candy (Cathy) would end up and it was perfect to me! She was happy so I wad happy!

So awkward, really everything about this is so rushed, poorly executed and super, super awkward. Usually lover Drew Barrymore so I tried this despite the horrific reviews. Trust the horrifying reviews-super, super, bad.

Oh dear God, this was horrifically awful. I wasted 35 minutes of my life, painfully watching this miserable movie and hoping that it would get better, but it didn't. And I couldn't spend any more time on it. Nooooo thank you Drew!

I can't believe how silly, lifeless, and insulting, The Stand In was. Even the extras looked lethargic and out of place.

The Stand In is a dark comedy drama that a returning Barrymore carries in multiple roles. We hope to see more of her soon. It's by no means laugh-out-loud funny but it still stands in as watchable fun.
