The Tiger Rising

two things: bad momentum and bad acting. the acting was more than intolerable, all the children, both main and side characters, you will see appear in scenes that utilize either the most unconvincing and monotone voices or overly-strained emotion that wastes talent on lost subtleties thus resulting as overbearing to witness. the momentum and plot for the world building up to the climax was too dragging and slow, sometimes even redundant. it would certainly be entertaining if you were watching with half a brain or dont seek anything produced with real thought and talent. this feels as predictable and elementary as a movie generated by ChatGPT. production wise, some shots revealed low budget production without the ability to make up for it. I have to commend the tiger and the special effects and shots of it as those were the only remarkable thing. this is my most honest opinion, candidly spoken with no words minced. i did not hate it, it is just a movie that isnt very tolerable to watch unless you want to waste your time on a cheesy movie with bad momentum.

The movie was the most depressing movie I have watched in a very long time. The whole plot moved extremely slow it was very sad through the whole thing and when the tiger died I lost it. Please don't ever let your children see this movie. I honestly think it's the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life!!!

Tiger Rising was an amazing movie. It was really interesting and good. It was made off of a book, and like most movies that are made off of books, this movie was worse than the book. But what I don't understand is how that movie got a 17% for critics. This movie doesn't deserve a 17% at all. This movie needs higher rating. What a good movie. I give this movie a 72%🍅.

I thought the story was good overall with interesting characters & a good cast, but it leaves you hanging at the end with several loose ends to the story.

I really really didn't like the girl, she was so annoying; made my blood boil every time she was on screen, Ruined the movie for me completely!

It takes forever to get going and when it does cliches sink it.

Tiger Rising mashes so many things up (loss of a mom, poverty, bullying, fitting in at a new school, on and on and on...) that it loses a clear sense of direction. Add in a tiger in someone's rural backyard cage and you have the makings of a wanna be tear-jerking coming-of-age pile of goo.
