Oh boy, what a hilarious mess of a film. A young girl leaves her Hawaiian home (as well as her bizarre ritual/voodoo prone Aunt) to major in Drama at a University. She falls in love with the professor who makes her the lead in that semesters play, much to the dissatisfaction of a group of mean-spirited, bully-ish girls (one of which is the narrator of the story, which was a surprisingly original move for this film). The group of girls, along with some of the boyfriends, pull a prank on her by having the girl come to the professor's house late at night in some sexy lingerie for a booty call, but he kicks her out, she runs into the group laughing at her and then starts to have seizures and then goes into a coma. Naturally, the Aunt is pissed and casts a spell to have the comatose girl's rage go into a Tiki doll and start killing everyone. Some of the deaths are inventive but all of them are laughable as is the dreadful acting in this very low budget movie. Some of it was "mildly interesting" but overall, it falls that. Also, what is up with the opening scene? It has ZERO connection to the rest of the film, or maybe I was just stupid and didn't catch it. Not even a three-way lesbian make-out scene or a couple of small titties could save this movie from being incredibly ridiculous, however, I do admire director Ron Ford's love for the genre and his urge to make films. The guy is creative; someone just needs to give him a bigger budget.
