The ending was not well thought out, especially the part wherein the corpse bride, known as Emily, had second thoughts about the wedding. Similar to the man known as Victor, I would honestly say that his decisions are really dumb and he should think more logically.

Best Tim Burton movie. The dialogue is poetic the movie cant be compared and makes the audience feel for Emily. The symbolism within the movie serves to create the ambiance of death life and love. Victors oppening scene with his butterfly and Emilys ending seen where she transcends into a butterfly.

The Corpse Bride is a stop-motion film that was set in the 1800s. There are two characters, Victor, voiced by Johny Depp, and Victoria, voiced by Emily Watson. They are set to be married by their parents. Victor who is very shy and clumsy messes up their marriage terribly. Victor runs away with embarrassment into the woods where he leads himself to the land of the dead married to a corpse bride. I thought this movie was good, I liked the characters a lot and their personalities. The difference between the dead and the living really stuck out to me. The community and family that was present in the land of the living were really important to me in this film. Also, the voice acting of the film was top-notch and paired withed the stop-motion very well. I thought the quality of the film was very well. A classic My overall reaction to this film was that I was shocked I hadn't seen it before. I really recommend this to kids and young adults such as myself if you are looking for a good romantic journey film Overall I'd give it a 3 out of 3 stars.

The Corpse Bride was made by Tim Burton in 2005. The stars of the film are Johnny Depp and Emily Watson. The movie is set in a fictional village in Victorian time England. The film follows the story of Victor and Victoria as they were supposed to have an arranged marriage, however before the wedding Victor is teleported into the afterlife. Where, Emily, insists she is Victor's wife. In the end, Victor is forced to choose between his living fiancee and his dead alleged wife. One thing from this film that stood out to me is the style of animation. Tim Burton is known for his eerie stop-motion animation style. In all of his movies, he uses a stop-motion technique which means it's filmed framed by frame, and in between they carefully move the props. Tim Burton has a very unique style of making all the characters have very sharp features. In The Corpse Bride, they differentiate the land of the living by looking more ordinary and plain, and in the land of the dead, the characters have skeletal features and are more vibrant. Tim Burton's style makes the characters more memorable. Overall I like this movie. I would give it four out of five stars. I thought it was a good mix of melancholy and romance. The songs were a nice addition to the movie and made it more enjoyable. I also really enjoyed the I think it is perfect for viewers my age, although it is an animation it is not childish. The animation was brilliant with great visuals.
