Time Now

A mystery with no real mystery, a thriller with no real thrills.

A dirge-worthy film, chock full of familial doom and gloom.... If you like despondency and depression, here's an indie effort that doses it out in large quantities.

Unfortunately, Time Now is one of those movies that too often tries to be mysterious at the expense of character insights and even coherence. Consequently, it is not especially fulfilling.

Eleanor Lambert gives a strong performance... her final moments are unflinching and heartbreaking.

Time Now, in both its expected and unconventional moments, succeeds at layering realism to a heightened premise.
