Sadly, Timmy himself proves oddly charmless, pathologically deluded, self-centred and heedless of the distress he causes others, not least his struggling single mother. We don't find out why he's like this, but the bear is amazing. Kids will love it.

It's corny, it's cheesy but charming and funny. It's kind of like the Disney of old... It really does kind of remind me of the films that I grew up with as a kid, and I think I would've loved this had it come out like 20 years ago.
