Ok, I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. I wasn't too sure about yet another Toy Story movie, with part 3 being so perfect. But this, despite the main cast of toys not having much to do, did open up some new philosophical insights in their toy lives. And went into some new directions with how toys see and experience the world. It's not as 'good' as the third one, but it is incredibly hard to follow up such a masterpiece. Despite that, I think the story was really good and they did a great job! It made me cry a couple of times, so that is always a good sign for me.

Toy Story was a series I loved in my childhood, and I still consider first three movies as great. And Toy Story 4, just to make the room for the story that the writers have planned, ruined most of the series continuity, in a way most audience won't notice because of dialogue that was written in a clever way to gaslight people into believing the rules broken here were always that way. No, they weren't, and I absolutely hate when writers do that. What's the point if anything can be changed at any time if the writers want to? That doesn't even mention major character assassination or changes that were made for the plot of this movie to happen, because it wouldn't have had the characters behaved like how they were shown in the past installments. I won't be getting into the details here, there is a well researched 6h long video essay about this on Youtube, go check it out. It's not a 0.5/5 stars movie on it's own, but as a sequel, it definitely is in my books.

……… What the hell was that?!? This is a horrible conclusion to the Toy Story franchise. Just…… no. Pixar…… please, do better.

This movie should've deserved a bit more decent rating than Cloudy with a chance of meatballs at least. This movie did not need a sequel at all, and this movie is what made the ending for Toy story 3 less emotional. And don't even get me started with the ending of this movie. Throughout the first 3 movies, he knows how loyal he's been to Andy and never wanted to be forgotten. WHY AT THE END OF THIS MOVIE HE WANTS TO STAY WITH BO PEEP. THAT WAS SUCH A STUPID ENDING

(SPOILERS) This movie is really great and the story is great but the one thing that botherd me is woody decided to not go back to bonny and be a "lost toy" to live with bo. This just kind of loses the loyalty that woody always had in his character in my opinion. Great movie though

it a good film but it's easily the weakest one in the franchise

I did not like this movie at all... Just a scam to make money in my opinion...

First of all the animation is butiful like the animation is clearer than my eye sight next is the plot buzz is following commands from his voice box but in the end he goes his own way and to me that represents following your heart and not doing things that quote "supposed to do" next we have Gabby the doll Gabby is trying to find her old owner and when her old owner finds her the owner throws Gabby in the trash which to me meant to not hold on to the past and to let it go I know they already did that message in meet the Robinsons but still for a kids movie it's some pretty heavy stuff

I don't hate it, it just didn't seem necessary. Forky is great though.

The story could have ended with the last one; it felt like a beautiful send off. But no, we had to go farther, see what Bonny and Bo Peep were doing, yadda yadda. I just can't bring myself to care that much. It's fine. Kids will like it, but please, don't milk things completely dry, Pixar. Find some new material.
