This movie is a very good zombie story the only thing holding it down is the train to Busan title.

This movie is freaking awesome! The action is sick and I love how everyone (well good guys) show up for each other and are awesome! I'd definitely recommend watching.

A worthy successor to "Train to Busan". It is different in almost all respects, but still manages to be a good zombie movie.

It's not that the film feels hollow necessarily, it's just not engaging. 🍀

Nothing like the first movie. This one really sucked. Ma Dong Seok was not in this movie. He is a great actor.

If you liked Train to Busan and are looking at Peninsula with hope and excitement, please spare yourself what people who have seen this movie have gone through. This movie is nowhere near the level of the first one (and actually has no connexion to it except for the fact that zombies behave the same way). Peninsula has countless plot holes, shortcuts and Hollywoodian action scenes where the good guy can single-handedly deal with dozens of bad guys and zombies at the same time with no trouble. The physics is so messed up (especially noticeable in any scene involving cars) you would think the movie happens on another planet. Not to mention the teenage girl who's able to drive better than any professional racer ever could. All in all, actions scenes are just so unrealistic it's impossible, as the watcher, to have any kind of immersion in the movie, up to the point where you almost forget zombies even exist. While the first movie made them a real threat, showed them with detail and gave them a true impact on the plot, Peninsula basically treats them as useless bowling pins who just get rolled over in car scenes. The characters are boring and have no depth, except for the MC who somehow shows some evolution among this mess of a movie. The obnoxious use of CGI (bad CGI) makes cars and zombie hordes look completely out of place. As per the ending, it just follows the principles laid for 2 long hours by the movie : it fails to make sense or make us feel any kind of sadness or fear for the characters. It's just cheesy and gives a stupid conclusion to a stupid film. I came to Peninsula with high hopes, considering Train to Busan is probably my favourite zombie movie, but to say i was let down would be a big understatement. Instead of the roller-coaster of action & emotions the first film gave us, this sequel fails at everything it tries to do and leaves us with the feeling of a movie that just tried too hard to be spectacular. It had VERY unrealistic physics & action scenes, VERY simplistic characters, VERY bad scenario, bad writing, bad everything. I do not recommend.

As a stereotype zombie movie its good. But it lacks soul and touch it is no train to Busan. I got excited when they introduced the two young girls because I thought that Soo-un and the baby loved since they were approximately the right ages. And was sorely disappointed I felt so ripped by that. It doesn't even make sense as to why these two random girls are the hope. As a typical zombie shoots them up it's good. But I still don't know why the guy with the brown teeth and great hair was a bad guy I felt bad for him and they never answered that. It's very upsetting. The first time I watched I was sort of happy but the more it went on the more I realized to stop wanting that masterpiece to feel train did. But it won't happen and if you want it to it's not gonna happen. The characters are lacking depth in comparison. They try to force that feel but when it's forced its just annoying (the slow mo with the instrumental scene ) All in all. It's a good zombie movie but it's no train. Still. Worth a watch must don't be prepared to go on The emotional roller coaster
