Triple Threat

This movie touched my heart, showing the Iives of young people working to make it in the business, and the personal issues they have following their dreams. The music was incredible! I play the sound track all the time. Great acting and story!

This is the absolute BEST musical about making a musical to ever exist! A musical within a musical that is also a movie... you couldn't ask for more from a movie as an arts lover! But Triple Threat still gives you more! All of the representation in this movie is casual, non-preachy, but still present in every frame - Triple Threat allows queer people to just exist in its space in a way I truly have never seen done before. The women in this movie are also such strong, complex human beings who have the right to make choices, whether they end up being the right choices or not - these women are sure of themselves and sure of what they want in a way that is absolutely beautiful to see on screen. This is absolutely THE feel-good movie of the summer and I can't wait to watch it again!

While it's a much needed film about chosen family and choice in a time when reproductive choices are being restricted in this country, Triple Threat's greatest strength is as a balancing act! In the wrong hands, the story could've been too heavy and preachy or gone in the other direction and been too twee and slight. With Stacey Maltin's sharp direction and a solid script by Maltin and Jay DeYonker, however, Triple Threat manages to balance all the ingredients to make for a fun, provocative and heartfelt story. Ultimately, Triple Threat may not be for everyone but it's worth giving a shot.

Triple Threat is a moving coming-of-age story about friends figuring out what they want in life. It makes you think back to the younger version of yourself and reflect on what has changed and what hasn't in so many ways. Also, the soundtrack is addicting and you will have it on repeat singing along to every word!

This cutting edge film is a must-watch! The character's search for balance between chasing their dreams and love perfectly encapsulates today's generation- not to mention it's authentic inclusivity. From the captivating love stories to the amazing soundtrack, you won't want to miss this!

This film was spectacular. I never stopped being engaged. I was amazed at every little twist and turn of the plot. The drama was palpable. The songs were excellent and stuck in my head for weeks afterward. The sets were expansive and detailed. THe cinematography was beautiful. Would definitely recommend a watch.

This movie has it all! Besides the kick-ass soundtrack and spot-on real-life depiction of struggles, it contains the perfect dose of everything needed in a great summer film? GO SEE IT!

Loved this movie! It follows a very charming group of friends that you can't help but root for. Triple Threat is never preachy, but at the same time is able to showcase the benefits of found family instead of the ones you are born into. The music and songwriting is a plus too! Would highly recommend!
