This movie barely passes the threshold of entertaining. If you're super bored then give it a go, otherwise don't waste your time. Cheesy with a pretty lame plot, not very funny either.

Very good movie, I think it tackled a lot of interesting themes but I personally think it rushed a few aspects and lost itself in its conclusion.

Delivers in originality, human interest, and intellectual depth while still embracing comedic moments. Re-watchable for sure.

What could've been the generic city folk realising they have more in common with the suppose simple country folk, "Vengeance" has more going for. Star, writer & director, B. J. Novak could've easily hid behind the quick witted & dry humour, but he doesn't forget where the heart of the film lies, getting to know the characters & most importantly, that of Abilene "Abby" Shaw, the key to everything.

You always wonder how these thriller podcasts get their ideas and stories. While sprinkling a little Texas comedy and Whataburger to get the full experience. BJ Nowak is a true Nancy Drew.

As wryly humorous as it is thoughtful and insightful at times, Vengeance proves an auspicious directorial debut for B. J. Novak.

Wow, this was an awful movie. Shallow, tired, blue vs red state stereotypes, predictable plot line, with flat, boring characters.

I really liked the movie and it's attempt to explain the differences between east coast and southern cultures. It highlighted the issues that arise between them and how each side overlooks and deals with the other side. In the end both sides compromise to try and deal with each other. I did have a hard time believing that Novak could do what he did at the end of the movie but it did conclude it.

    Lame. Did not finish.

A surprising film that almost lost me in the first scene. They were clearly making a point about the main character in the opening scene but it was so bad I nearly stopped the movie. It took another few minutes to get my attention back. Then it snowballed like a Texas tumbleweed. At times it was overwritten and bombastic in its messaging. Still attention getting but a bit touch-and-go. It tried to sell you on Texas but it did not work for me. Nonetheless, a gem of a movie with strong acting. The last minutes are as good as the first few were painful. Go watch Vengeance.
