Vikram proves itself to be a good action flick with a commendable direction and great performances. Even though it has a comparatively weaker screenplay than Lokesh's other films but overall, a good watch.

Greatest Come Back of Kamal Hassan. The Good: 1) As Usual Kamal Hassan gave a Greatest Performance with limited Dialogue delivery. 2) Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Fassil screen presence was awesome. 3) Creative Action Choreography. 4) Violence was too good. 5) Twists and turns. 6) Interval Bang!! 7) Revelation of Agents. 8) Climax was Unexpected. 9) Character Development.

ulaga nayagan is truly universal with this magnificent addition to the LCU. its good to see lokesh kanagaraj back in the dilli style of filmmaking anirudh is always brilliant in music but vikram will easily be amongst his top singles as a composer

Vikram - 10/10. Kicking ass through its whole runtime! One of the best experiences I've ever had at a movie theatre! Kamal Haasan returns to cinema in a huge way. He returns with an Arnold Scwarzenegger like bravado, along with his trademark amazing acting skills. Its a film ardently made by a loving fan, Lokesh Kanagaraj, who not only makes it as a tribute to his favourite star, but also as an ardent movie lover as well. His way of action seemed to look like it peaked in Kaithi, but we, as the viewer, are thrust into a world in Vikram which will not only surprise you, but also engage you throughout. The first half plays out like an investigative thriller, focusing more on the brilliant characters played by Fahadh Fasil and Vijay Sethupathi. But once the story shifts fully on Kamal Haasan's Vikram, it sends the film into a careening, testosterone pumping, action filled thrill ride. Its a movie that focuses on the violence of the action and the story equally. There's a reason for whatever is happening, and the reasoning is done so well by Lokesh. Honestly, this is what big blockbuster films are made up to be! This is what tamil cinema should be heading to in terms of summer films, and if tamil cinema is headed to "universe" building cinema, this is a fucking amazing start! Kick ass film, and so worth the hype!

not nearly the same fun and excitement we got from watching RRR. So not more then 3 stars
