Volition
audience Reviews
, 67% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsOverall, I immensely enjoyed this film. While it certainly seems familiar to titles such as Next or Triangle, I still found myself having a solid time. It is a sci-fi film that manages to take bold and surprising turns along the way, making it more and more exciting as the film progresses. Excepting the final moments, I found the movie unpredictable for the majority. Despite the small cast, it is entertaining, creative, and undoubtedly worthwhile viewing, as it exceeded my expectations.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNice caper that involves time loops. Mind bending fun!
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsLet me first say that I love sci-fi, thrillers and weird movies. This one just did not do it for me. The concept was very similar to The Butterfly Effect from the mid 2000s. However, that movie was more successful pulling off the concept. My advice is give that one a try and skip this one.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsNothing new in the psychic realm... until the fun starts.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsPlease do not waste your time (ironically the movie is about this). However if you are the kind of person who like to wast their time this might be enjoyable.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis sci-fi/thriller illustrates its own concept of time travel through the use of drugs. The complexity of parallel entwined timelines matching perfectly into one only reality makes it a great movie.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWhat a fucking surprise of a film! The first 5 minutes was not a good first impression AT ALL because holy shit. Did not expect this film to captivate me down this mind bender as well as it did. Such a great quantum reality/time travel film
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsLaughable script, super silly story, total trash
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsGood twist but after the twist everything the guy did was so stupid. The solution was so simple it was irritating.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsGuy finds himself caught in a time travel loop made by his own choices - what's not to like? Volition was well-paced, engaging throughout, and more than the sum of its parts. Recommended to anyone who would like a well-constructed timetravel movie.
