Wander

[Wander] is kind of a drag at times, despite the energy director Mullen puts into the scenario's depiction.

Perhaps the biggest problem with Wander is that, as much as it tools with the viewer until the very last shot, tossing out tons of red herrings and false leads, it never really trusts in the viewer's intelligence.

With no emotional stakes and a confusing central conspiracy, Wander is a thriller without thrills and a political statement that doesn’t know what it wants to say.

One of the lamest episodes of The X-Files never made, Wander actually brings to mind the name of Mad magazine's spoof of the cult series. Just call this The Ecch-Files.
