Werewolves
audience Reviews
, 44% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt's a good movie for some brutal entertainment. Frank Grillo is a great action hero and makes the movie a must see. I would like to see better combat techniques by our female heroine as she wasted many shells on nothing. I would remind them too that werewolves have super hearing and smell so unlikely hiding would help and screaming sure didn't help. Otherwise I enjoyed it and was on the edge of my seat.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsyes, it's dumb but it's a fun movie
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWerewolves (2024). It's a low-budget movie that's like a rip-off of The Purge movies, with Frank Grillo but with bipedal Werewolves. At least it has some things that are important to defend your home. If you're a mother, you don't need a husband to defend you, and you stop infantilizing your children, making them aware that they must protect themselves. The two women, Katrina Law and Ilfenesh Hadera, are attractive and curvy. Katrina Law has a nice ass. The bad thing is the nonsense about the moon mutating people.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt wasn’t the worst thing I’ve watched but it could have been way better and needed more back story as to why this happened.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsBad SGI and that the wolfs can use humans as insulat for elektrisity is totalt crazy. And manny things that realy dont make sense. Dont waste your time.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWerewolves (2024) attempts to reimagine the classic horror trope of lycanthropy with a modern twist, but unfortunately, it falls flat in execution. The film struggles to establish a coherent plot, meandering between clichéd jump scares and predictable character arcs. The script lacks depth, relying too heavily on tired horror tropes and failing to explore any meaningful themes or character development. The dialogue feels forced and unrealistic, failing to engage viewers beyond surface-level scares. Visually, the film is underwhelming, with special effects that often look amateurish or overdone. The pacing is uneven, alternating between sluggish exposition and frenetic action sequences that fail to build genuine suspense. Overall, Werewolves (2024) fails to deliver as a compelling horror film, offering little innovation or substance to distinguish itself in a genre already saturated with superior offerings.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsEh It Was Okay . Wolfman Was Way Better
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsMovie is a lot of fun even with obvious limited budget it was well done. Some parts drag again overall I liked it and would recommend
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsLow-budget action staple Frank Grillo , who I mostly recall from a couple of The Purge movies and Copshop, stars in the horror/sci-fi/action film- just imagine the original Purge with lycanthropes instead of criminals. Some of the visual effects are well done but others are cheesy, and the surround sound mix is very good. Lou Diamond Phillips is under utilized as the head scientist and the sister-in-law character and her daughter (who emotes a piercing scream when required) give the best performances.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe previous year during a supermoon billions of people transform into Werewolves and they are not sure why this mutation is now happening, but they know one thing for sure exposure to the moon during this event will lead to the change. A year later apparently people either forgot that simply staying indoors for one night would prevent the change or they just dont care and can live with potentially eating their family, friends, neighbors or fellow human beings. I completely understand that there will be the odd person that wants to change and therefore will expose themselves on purpose, but i'd like to think the vast majority would prefer not to not just for the above mentioned reasons but also for the toll the transformation takes on a person both mentally and physically yet... there would be no movie so of course everyone is out and about and transforming. CGI is poor for the Werewolves, choices made throughout are face palm material, one girl is alone in her poorly protected house alone making popcorn during the event when her neighbors house is Fort Knox and for one night would surely be the place to be.. meh, if you can completely switch your brain off then it could be entertaining.
