Asher Angel
Born in Arizona in 2002, Asher Angel started acting at age five when he went to a local theater production with his mother. On his way out his told his mother he wanted to act, the theater was having auditions the following weekend, and Angel got his first part. He quickly decided that acting was what he wanted to do and worked hard, sometimes appearing in multiple performances at the same time. He booked his first onscreen appearance, a small role in "Jolene" (2008), the first film to star Jessica Chastain. His hard work eventually paid off, as Angel landed a Los Angeles based talent agent and casting agents began calling him in for auditions. In 2016, he appeared in guest roles on an episode of "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn" (Nickelodeon, 2014-) as well as an episode of "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" (CBS, 2016-2017). In 2017, Asher debuted in his first series role, playing Jonah Beck, the crush of the title character on "Andi Mack" (Disney, 2017-). Disney announced that the show would be renewed for a second season.
