Brandon Boyd

American musician Brandon Boyd, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Incubus, was born and raised in California. He showed interest in music early on and ended up dropping out of High School to pursue his dream alongside the band Incubus. Their debut album, "Fungus Amongus'' (1995), released independently, earned them a record deal. The band would only find commercial success, however, after the release of their third album, "Make Yourself" (1999). During the 2000s, as the band released new music, Boyd also branched out into fine arts and literature, opening his first solo show in 2008 in a gallery in Los Angeles and writing books about his experiences. In 2010, he released his first solo album and toured with his own band, Sons of the Sea, while Incubus went on hiatus. In the early 2020s, he took up his first acting role in the critically-acclaimed series "Reservation Dogs" (FX on Hulu, 2021-23).
