Brian McGovern

Brian McGovern was an actor who worked in television for most of his Hollywood career. At the beginning of his acting career, McGovern appeared in various dramas like "Ryan's Hope" (ABC, 1974-1989) and "Live Shot" (UPN, 1995-96). He had an early role on the television special "Thanksgiving Day Parade" (Lifetime, 1988-89). Several more television roles followed in the nineties and the early 2000s, including stints on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (FX, 2004-). In the nineties and the early 2000s, he acted in the biopic drama "Prefontaine" (1997) with Jared Leto and the dramatic adaptation "True Blue" (1998) with Johan Leysen. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (FX, 2004-). Recently, he tackled roles on "Just Legal" (WB, 2005-06) and "The Game" (2006-15). He also was featured in the TV movie "McBride: Fallen Idol" (Hallmark Channel, 2005-06). Most recently, McGovern acted on "Chasing Life" (Freeform, 2013-15).
