Caitlin Stasey

Caitlin Stasey was an Australian actress, born in 1990, who first appeared on Australian television show "The Sleepover Club" (Nine Network, 2002-08) as lead character Frankie Thomas. Stasey experienced another wave of popularity during her time as Rachel Kinski on Australian soap opera "Neighbours" (Eleven, 1985- ) from 2005-2009. Stasey attended Star of the Sea College, which she left "Neighbours" to return to; co-star Holly Valance was an alumnus. Stasey also found success on the Australian iTunes charts with a duet recorded with "Neighbours" co-star Dean Geyer, released in 2008. She landed her debut film role as the lead in war drama "Tomorrow, When the War Began" (2010), followed by a role in fantasy film "I, Frankenstein" (2014). She appeared in the first two seasons of historical drama "Reign" (The CW, 2013- ), which followed the historical figure Mary, Queen of Scots, as a lady-in-waiting. In 2015, Stasey launched Herself, a feminist website dedicated to telling women's stories. She said of her sexuality on the site, "I've known I was mostly gay ever since I can remember. I know it troubles many people for me to refer to myself as a lesbian considering I have a male partner." She appeared in Fox drama "APB" in 2016.
