Carolyn Pfeiffer

A producer and production executive with a textured background, Carol Pfeiffer broke into show business when women rarely did such a thing, and went on to become co-chair of Island Alive, a company responsible for many films which heralded the new wave of independents in the USA. She has also been associated with director-writer Alan Rudolph, producing six of his films to date: "Roadie" (1980), "Endangered Species" (1982), "Return Engagement" (1983), "Choose Me" (1984), "Trouble in Mind" (1985) and "The Moderns" (1988).
