Challen Cates

Challen Cates was an actress who worked in television most of her Hollywood career. Cates began her acting career with roles in sitcoms like "Roseanne" (ABC, 1988-1997), "Cybill" (CBS, 1994-98) and "Partners" (CBS, 1995-2000). She also appeared in "Getting Personal" (Fox, 1997-99). She also appeared in the TV movie "A Kiss to Die For" (NBC, 1993-94). In the early 2000s, she shifted her entertainment career towards more dramatic roles, appearing on "Missing" (Lifetime, 2002-05), "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-) and "LAX" (NBC, 2004-05). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Diagnosis Murder: Deadly Mirage" (ION Television Network, 2001-02). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Big Time Rush!" (Nickelodeon, 2009-2013) and "The Whole Truth" (ABC, 2010-11). She also was featured in the TV movies "Murder 101: College Can Be Murder" (Hallmark Channel, 2006-07) and "The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning" (ABC Family, 2006). Most recently, Cates acted on "The Night Shift" (NBC, 2013-).
