Dana Gould

It is rarely accidental when comedians who made their debut in the early 1980s are still active decades later. In Dana Gould's case, he did it very quietly despite being known as "The Father of Alternative Comedy." Since starting performing at age 17, Gould performed with some of the best while writing TV shows and more. With Emmys for "The Simpsons," and credibility from trail-blazing sketch shows like "The Ben Stiller Show," Gould laid a foundation as a comedian's comedian.
