Danielle Bisutti

Danielle Bisutti may have grown up in the entertainment industry, but it was her own talent and ambition that led her to a successful career as an actor and musician. The native Los Angeleno studied acting and musical theatre at California State University Fullerton, and honed her acting skills in everything from productions of "Hair" and "Uncle Vanya," to a stint at Disneyland as Cruella de Vil. After making her small-screen debut on the short-lived sitcom "Strip Mall" (Comedy Central, 2000-01), Bisutti worked steadily in minor TV roles and the occasional feature film (2004's "Tropix") while building a reputation as a talented singer-songwriter. In 2008 she landed a major role as jealous fashion executive Amanda Cantwell on Nickelodeon's "True Jackson, VP" (2008-2011), which she balanced with guest-starring appearances on numerous primetime TV series. The dark-haired actress pulled off a horror hat-trick in 2013 when she appeared in two separate franchises - the straight-to-DVD sequel "Curse of Chucky" and the supernatural thriller "Insidious: Chapter 2" - which showcased her screams as well as her smarts.
