Faith Hill

If fame is to be compared to a roller coaster, singer/songwriter Faith Hill would still be on the first ascent. Ever since her first hit single, 1993's Wild One, Hill has been on a meteoric rise that has had no drop off in sight. Though typically recording in the country music genre, Hill has made the successful crossover to pop while still maintaining her gospel and R&B roots. Taking chances musically has been the one thing that has made Hill one of the most successful country music stars since her idol, Reba McEntire, became famous in the 1980's. With mainstream success firmly under her belt, Hill has taken the next step in her career: starring in movies and on television.
