Giovanni Morassutti

Italian actor, theatre director, writer, artist and cultural entrepreneur Giovanni Morassutti studied at the Actors Studio in New York with Salem Ludwig in early 2000. He went on to graduate from the National Film School of Rome. Screen credits include "Il Fuggiasco" (2003), "Last Days" (2005), " Ma che ci faccio qui!" (2006) and "The Viceroys" (2007). Morassutti directed stage performances including "Madre sin Panuelo" sponsored by the Argentina Embassy and presented in Rome and Milan in the fall of 2015. Morassutti also wrote and directed a documentary about the art of using nature as inspiration and creativity in acting. Giovanni Morassutti has also been nominated for the David di Donatello award for his role in "Affittasi vita" (2021) and served as an advisor for the documentary about a Yiddish lullaby written during the Holocaust, "The Lonely Child." His most recent project as a theater director is "Climate Change Theatre Action" in 2021.
