J.J. Soria

Having been typecast as street toughs and thugs early on in his career, Joseph Julian Soria's breakout performance came in 2012 when he was cast as Corporal Hector Cruz on the Lifetime military drama, "Army Wives" (2007-13). Soria cites his role as Cruz, a young army corporal that's struggling to adjust to married life, as his first opportunity to embody a character with emotional depth and dimension. The Hollywood community soon took note, and from 2012 onward, Soria had appeared in three critically acclaimed independent dramas: "Filly Brown" (2012), "Mission Park" (2013), and "Snap" (2013). He may have started his career playing angry young men on the fringes of society, but Soria has since proven himself as a respected character actor in both movies and TV.
