Katy Tur

Daughter of two journalists, Katy Tur began her career as a reporter at a few television stations and as a storm chaser for a cable weather channel. In 2009, Tur pivoted from local to national news. She won AP's Best Spot News Award for her coverage of a NY crane collapse. Tur was an embedded reporter for NBC News and MSNBC for the 2016 Donald Trump presidential campaign. In 2017, Tur was awarded the Walter Cronkite Award in Excellence in Journalism.
