Olive Cooper

Olive Cooper brought many screenplays to Hollywood throughout the course of her Hollywood career. Cooper began her writing career for film with such titles as "Streamline Express" (1935), "Navy Born" (1936) and "Join the Marines" (1937). She also appeared in "Rhythm in the Clouds" (1937), "Jim Hanvey, Detective" (1937) and "Annabel Takes a Tour" (1938). In the latter part of her career, Cooper wrote "King of the Cowboys" (1943) with Roy Rogers, "Nobody's Darling" (1943) and the Roy Rogers western "Idaho" (1943). She also appeared in "Song of Nevada" (1944) and "The Bamboo Blonde" (1946). Cooper last wrote "Bandit King of Texas" (1949) with Allan "Rocky" Lane. Cooper passed away in June 1987 at the age of 95.
