Paola Núñez

Mexican-born actress and producer Paola Nunez made the leap from telenovelas to the prestige television of AMC. Born on April 8, 1978 in Tijuana, Nunez began acting in plays when she was only twelve years old, and taking small roles in telenovelas when she was sixteen. She landed her first lead role in 2005 in the telenovela "Amor en custodia" (Canal 7/TV Azteca, 2005-2008), while the very same year appearing in her first feature film, "Ver, oir y callar" (2005). Nunez continued to work in a number of telenovelas, including "Mientras Haya Vida" (TV Azteca, 2007-2008), "Pasión Morena" (Azteca 13, 2009-2010), and "Destino" (Azteca 13, 2013), while also appearing in films such as "Depositarios" (2010), "Sin Ella" (2010), and "El Más Buscado" (2014). In 2017, Nunez broke over into American television with a supporting role in the Pierce Brosnan-starring western drama series "The Son" (AMC, 2017), proving that skill knows no borders.
