Patricia Field

A flame-haired New Yorker with a cutting-edge signature style, Patricia Field made her mark in the fashion industry since the 1960's. An Emmy award-winning stylist and costume designer, Field applied her trademark New York style to the hit HBO series "Sex and the City" (1998-2004), creating one of the most fashion-forward television series to date. A boutique owner with her own line of fashion, Field rose to the top of her game becoming one of the most sought-after designers in the industry. By 2006, she had made enough of a name for herself even outside the insular TV wardrobe world, that she was chosen to style the very fashion-focused hit film, "The Devil Wears Prada" as well as dress the cast of the surprise hit ABC series, "Ugly Betty."
